Social Media Giveaway – Official Rules

At Empowered Services Inc., we’re proud to support our community and show appreciation to those who support us. Please review the official rules below for our current social media giveaway.

1. Sponsor

This giveaway is organized and sponsored by:

2. Eligibility

This giveaway is open to individuals who:

  • Are legal residents of Alberta, Canada

  • Are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry

The following individuals are not eligible to enter:

  • Employees and contractors of Empowered Services Inc.

  • Immediate family members of the above

3. Contest Period

The giveaway begins on:
May 1 at 9:00 AM (Mountain Time)

The giveaway closes on:
May 31 at 11:59 PM (Mountain Time)

Entries submitted outside of this timeframe will not be eligible.

4. How to Enter

Participants may enter by completing the following:

  • Follow @EmpoweredServicesInc on the applicable social media platform(s)

  • Like the official giveaway post

  • Share the official giveaway post

Bonus Entries

  • Each new follow counts as one (1) entry (limit one entry per account for following)

  • Each share of a different post from our account during the contest period counts as one (1) additional entry

Important:

  • Shares must be visible and/or tag our account to be counted

  • Entries must be verifiable

  • Unlimited bonus entries are permitted through sharing different posts

No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive:
One (1) $50 CAD Amazon Gift Card

  • Retail value: $50 CAD

  • Prize is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash (unless required by law)

  • Empowered Services Inc. is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon

6. Winner Selection

The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on or about:
June 1

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

7. Winner Notification

The selected winner will be contacted via direct message from our official account within 48 hours of the draw.

  • The winner must respond within 48 hours to claim the prize

  • If no response is received, an alternate winner may be selected

Please note: Empowered Services Inc. will never request payment or financial information to claim a prize.

8. Skill-Testing Requirement

In accordance with Canadian law, the selected winner must correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question before being confirmed as the official winner.

9. Prize Delivery

The prize will be delivered by:

  • Email (digital gift card), or

  • Another mutually agreed-upon method

Empowered Services Inc. is not responsible for lost, delayed, or misdirected delivery.

10. General Conditions

By entering this giveaway, participants agree to:

  • Be bound by these official rules

  • Accept the decisions of Empowered Services Inc. as final

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow Empowered Services Inc. to share their name and/or social media handle for announcement purposes, without additional compensation.

Empowered Services Inc. reserves the right to:

  • Cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if necessary

  • Disqualify any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, or not in compliance with these rules
